Leo why you actin like Mexicans cant be U.S citizens?

actually you might be right.... but Mexican can be born U.S!!!

That is kinda of conflicting. "Mexican" is neither a Race or Ethnic Group, but a Nationality -- or what country you hold citizenship in. Now from my understanding both countries allow dual citizenship, but in that aspect the diaspora -  a group of people who left or are descendants of those who left an area, wouldn't be Mexican in the true sense of the word. Now if somebody who holds Mexican citizenship lived here for a certain number of years(of which I can't recall or bother looking up) they are applicable to be naturalized and therefore become a citizen of both countries.  Not every country allows Dual Citizenship though(Japan is an example), and you can't be a Citizen of that country. So yes you are right there is such a thing as a "Mexican-American" when observing somebody who has dual citizenship of those two countries, but it is fales to assign that description to somebody based only on their ancestry. If we were to do that, then there has to be a "German-American" or "French-American" or "Spanish-American". In that area, what would happen if say the "Mexican-American's" father was Mexican, but their Great-Grandparents immigrated to Mexico from Spain. Would they be "Spanish-Mexican American"? What about those of multiple countries in their ancestry, such as myself, would I be "French-English-German-Spanish- American". See how it conflicts? :D That is why it is much easier to denote people by race actually. For example, I would be a person of European ancestry or "race" in every country I go, unless I had children of somebody of another race that would stay constant, and in that instance my children would be a mixture of two or more races. You can either do that, or just drop all classifying people in total, which would become troublesome for many reasons.
