Forums - Gaming - WHEN did you give up on Sony

mentally or physically? mentally awhile ago because they have some of the worst PR and dumb asses working in that company, physically, uh, not yet, I don't deny good games no matter what it's on, unless I already own a game on another platform that is.

Never gave up on them when i never counted on them, i just like there consoles, and to the PS3 is the best this gen so far, ...well thats not entirely true because the PSP has a line-up that cant be trifled with so...

Still its a PlayStation no matter how you swing it...

btw i call flamebait to some degree.

I gave up on Sony when I had my PS1. I did not like the controller, so I sold it and played my N64.

Now, 14 years later, the controller stayed more or less the same. So I was one of the few who never played the PS2, but always loved videogames.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

never liked sony..I mean I had a PSone (well it was my brother's actually) and it was cool but I felt like it won by accident and the ps2 by lucky..so yeah.

And Nintendo wins by what? Divine providence?

Torillian, it's simply. Sony accidentally provided a better and more varied gaming experience. They also accidentally improved relations with developers and got more support for their system. It was just a great big fluke.

yeah, the ps1 managed to sell over 100 million consoles while the ps2 sold over 136 million consoles by total accident. :p

"The next generation starts when we say so"

For me that was a little too totalitarian. Maybe the bloody nose, that is the PS3 to date, will soften my stance.

What is that saying about Pride coming before a fall.
