Forums - Gaming - Kojima: Metal Gear Solid: Rising will still contain stealth

Unlike the other topic that says that MGSR will be purely hack n' slash with absolutely no stealth, this topic has information stright from Kojima's mouth and isn't purely speculation.

Kojima already confirmed during the Konami E3 Press Conference that this would still be a stealth game, just different from what we're used to (which might mean more action oriented, but having stealth implemented in some way nonetheless), and that alone invalidates the aforementioned topic.

I might be going too far by making a whole topic for this, but there are too many people reading the title of the other topic and assuming it is the truth.

no way its raiden gaiden i heard

How it should be

If that is so, I have wasted alot of energy and time in that other thread tonight

Thank god. =)

There's still some trepidation regarding this game for me, but this reassures me some. Can't wait until we see some actual gameplay footage, so we have a better idea of what these differences are.

Around the Network

maybe it will be a mix of Ninja Gaiden's action and Tenchu's stealth.

Great news, thanks man!

Thats great, 360 owners are so good at gaming we can beat any ninja gaiden. Kojima gives the 360 fanbase what we want, not easy stealth movies.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
