I just picked up GT5P. There were only two copies left when I got there, and no copies of R&C.

It was no mistake, even though their system wasn't ringing it properly. Copies of R&C and GT5 Prologue both had stickers attached to make them look like Greatest Hits releases, and only those two. They also had a display nearby of discounted BluRay movies inside the PS3 setup. I think they just jumped the gun a bit.

Anyhoos, I picked up GT5 Prologue. I'm contemplating whether I open it, or hold it for a week and no-receipt return it to Gamestop for credit. If I do that, I could always pick up Disgaea 3, which I've been dying to get for a while now.

Do any of you guys suck as much at GT5P as me?
I'm maxed out at 2.15 at Suzuka, Ferrari F430.

It's not a rumor, it's true. Went to my local Target thinking it was fake also. I went to gaming section, saw "Ratchet and Clank 14.98, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue 9.98."

I was pretty surprised that those games are so cheap. Too bad the clerk said "We just put those stickers up today and we are not sure when we are getting shipments." :\ They told me to check tomorrow, which I will do.

As someone who worked at Target for more than a year I can tell you he really does have no idea when the shipments will have the games. Basically no one in the entire store will know what's going to be on a truck any given day, but trucks come everyday.

Anyways.. it's pretty old and a demo.. not to mention rumors of GT5 is inbound so this is pretty expected :p... Maybe not that the price is that cheap though.

Do you use a wheel?

I find it really hard to drive the F430 with the DS3.
It's hard to control the throttle with the controller. The rear often spins out when exiting a corner.
