I do not understand the low scores for this game. I have played it ruffly 3 hours and I am loveing it.  It is not Chrono Trigger like some might lead you to believe.(for better or worse)  I am likeing the story and although at times a little slow the combat . The whole sometimes to many back to back random battles, it seems to play just like any other rpg. I would recommand it to any RPG lover

From what I read, the game itself is good, but it suffers from terrible freezing issues that strike at random. I'm going to buy it anyway though, since I've been waiting for years to play it. Hopefully I get lucky.

Haven't seen any freezing problems yet. Actually, its a pretty good game so far. Kind of wish the gameplay was faster but still alright. Actually, I'm stuck in Orchid Valley right now. No idea where to go.

See if you can rent it. If not, buy it! If you like the old 16-bit games, this game will make you feel like you're playing a lost SNES RPG. In a good way.
