Noticed in the full run down a statement about HVS bringing (porting?) its games to the HD consoles.

Has anyone else heard this elsewhere? Or is it as reliable as Kid Icarus Wii?

yep, I think there was a thread here in VGChartz

it was basically the guy saying that if a publisher goes and support them with the money to port their games, they'll do it. can't find it right now though...

As to porting the game to the other platforms, I wouldn't say it would be impossible but it would be very difficult. We built our Quantum3 technology and gameplay around the Wii hardware. Graphics aside, there are things that the Wii can do that the other consoles simply can't. So I won't say no to a port, but I will say that it would not be as simple as you may think. We are a very diverse company and our technology never sits idle...who knows what the future will bring.

They missed this thing they said when talking about The Grinder:

Matt: "This isn't The Grinder show yet, I think it'll be next year."
Bozon: "Yeah, which will be interesting because it will probably be going up against some pretty big Nintendo titles."
Matt: "Oh God, yeah. There's some unannounced games, you know, like, that we talked about at E3 that are just like ridiculous, as well."
Bozon: "They're going to be insane."

HVS basically said it would happen only if companies money-hatted them.

The Conduit review will be close to 8.8. It should get over 9 but who knows.

Metroid: Other M looks amazing, why do they care if Team Ninja is making it? Do not make assumptions from the devs. Look at HVS, they made mediocre games but that changed with The Conduit.

If it was so expected why weren't you able to predict it in your E3 2009 predictions?

LOL at the revisionist history to make himself look better.

From the rumors before the show, I would say that Galaxy 2 was the least surprising new game they showed.  But another Mario console game at the same show?  That was unexpected for me.
