According to the site, you can actually KEEP your HD-DVDs - just send in your HD-DVD covers and $5 and up for the Blu Ray version. Interesting, huh?

Old news.
I did not know you could keep your HD-DVD's though, that's pretty nice.

That is interesting, I didnt know that, its nice that alot of these companies did this for early HD-DVD adopters.
That is pretty cool. I can get the Ocean's Trilogy for $25 through this and then sell my HD-DVD set for $10 on Amazon with no cover
.

Only Warner has done it so far. I traded in as many as I could. Still have a few i would like to upgrade as well

Just scan and print you a new cover, send the original one in.
@CaptDS9E
What is the max limit? I thought it was 25 or can you do another order?
Why cant microsoft use HD-DVD as their games discs, it would be great.
I have a substantial library of HD-DVD and just continue to keep/watch them. My Blu-Ray library is growing, but is still outnumbered by my HD-DVD library. I dont understand why people get rid of there HD DVD library, just to turn around and buy the exact same movie on Blu-Ray.
Considering you can get the same visual quality movie (older titles of course, new....not so much) on amazon, ect. for a fraction of the cost of the same title on Blu-Ray is beyond me. Why not have both??
(IMO) there is no visual difference between the 2 so why (technically) spend more, for something you already own. Ehhhh to each there own I guess. Blu-Ray is awesome, but not worth the price of admission.......twice.
^^^ convenience. Instead of having two players, you can toss the one and just have one player.
