to me personally i thought the gameplay demo was a little disappointing, reason that it looks like it depends alot on shooting, rather than interacting and solving puzzles, (like the new Silent Hill game) but most people in here liked that about it.

and i think this game is doing what alone in the dark SUPPOSED to have done :]

looking forward to it.

The developers said that portion of the game was very action heavy and does not reflet the rest of the game.

I don't understand all the hype for this game. Max Payne was known for it's intense gunplay and dark cinematography.

This game just looks like a bad cross between Alone in the dark and GTA 4 with a little Luigi's Mansion thrown in.

I'm assuming you've seen the gameplay trailer.

As an action adventure game, it looks great. But as a horror game, the demo didn't do, what its premise claims to be, any justice. I'm afraid that it is going to be something that fans more toward an action game then a survival horror game. And as I've seen from many forums and websites, they were expecting horror, as was I.
