Forums - Microsoft - Operation Darkness: WW2 strategy/rpg with werewolves, tanks, and dragons?

I'm really tired of WW2 games but at least this one attempts to be different from all the others.  It's an Xbox 360 exclusive and there's no word yet if it'll be released outside of Japan.

"You may be thinking we need another WWII game like we need another reality show about a newly-married celebrity couple, but wait! Operation Darkness for the 360 is a WWII strategy/RPG game with magic, dragons, Nazi soldiers who look oddly like they stepped out of Killzone, and a hot chick with a rifle. There's also a guy who appears to change into a werewolf, and a skeleton getting crushed by a tank.  This has been your dose of "Hwa?" for the day."

Nifty. I hope it does come out in the US. I'd totally get it to play on my friends Xbox for when i move.

Posted about this a few months back in my big RPG thread...

Either way, the game looks fantastic. As oddball as it is, I am a sucker for Isometric RPGs - they're my favorite.

The animations look really, really good, despite being so odd of a game. I hope and pray this comes to the US - It'd do real good (250k, probably) for a budget/niche title.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

looks very odd but definitely worth keeping an eye on.

To Each Man, Responsibility

Looks pretty shocking... then again it's about as accurate as most western games about Japan. =P

Looks nice, will be interesting to see what it plays like and if it gets a release outside of Japan.

Also, what are the Helghast doing on a 360 game?

They've joined the Nazis :)
