Someone might take a flyer on him, but he reportedly wants $4.75 million.........not worth anything near that in my mind. I'm both saddened & happy that JR is retiring. He was an effective role player when he was with the Sharks & a great mentor for the younger guys, as well as a great sense of humor (if you don't believe me, watch this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_RlCrhGQ2U ). I'm pretty sure he did lead the league in game-winning-goals for a long time during the 2007-2008 season. I sure hope he goes into broadcasting or some sort of management position with the Sharks

This is interesting - Theo Fluery, at age 41, is attempting to make a comeback. I don't know how much his skills have deteriorated, but I remember him, Lindros and York playing well together in New York and he must have been 36 or 37 then. Fluery and Belfour should make RPHL (Retired People Hockey League) together.

Boucher is a great goalie, not sure how he would handle a starter position should Emery falter but he can easily handle a back-up position & win games. He'll prolly do a string of shut-out games if he gets on a roll
