PC Users with a good GPU please use the GPU client.

PS3 = Life with PlayStation -> Config Panel -> Folding@Home

PC = download a client off official site -> change team

hmmm I used to run folding@home for a while until my computer died a little while afterwards
I cant say they are related, but at the same time it makes me a little leery. its a shame since I love the idea and have worked in protein research before.

I'm already in trouble for using too much electricity in the house, sorry.

lol, i doubt that. it was heat and lack of air to keep your PS3 cool.

Anyways Mr. AMD fanboy. I know you have a damn good AMD GPU. And we all know how easy it is to replace a GPU so why not just put up the GPU client.

Ok, I will use my GPU client. Once my HD 4670 gets replaced I will start folding with it. Im not an AMD fanboy, I just like to support the underdog. My main gaming PC is an Intel + Nvidia job.

My PS3 is free standing it has tons of space around it and it always had heaps of space around it.

odd then, you were just unlucky. I fold all the time when I'm not around or at least looking at some news of Life with PlayStation.

The GPU client is way faster then the PS3's F@H client. It is basically GPU > PS3 > CPU when it comes to folding so you joining in with a great GPU like the HD 4670 will fold things fast, way faster then my 9600 GT.

Thats odd, the HD 4670 has about the same number of shaders as the 9600GT really. 320/5 = 64. It should be about as good but not better than the 9600GT.

I've heard some ATI GPUs run better for folding then nVidia. It takes nVidia's highest end to top ATI's best.
