Forums - Sales - Alll weekly figs up... YOY YTD and market share movements.

Thanks kowenicki. There are some fairly big discrepancies there, so I'm guessing the earlier numbers pre-date the big adjustment to PS3 and 360 numbers. Especially the market share changes for PS3 and 360 can only be explained by the big adjust. And also the 360 YoY difference must be in large part because of the big adjust. Though I have a feeling this last month or so has been a bit slower for the 360 than same time '08, but not THAT slow.

The last 4 weeks running average:

Console Wii PS3 X360
Total
891,486
401,687
450,705

Same time last year

Console Wii PS3 X360
Total
1,642,096
588,020
527,823

Wii: -45.71%

Xbox 360: -14.61%

PS3: -31.68

Judging from that it looks like the Wii will shortly take ownership of the title of 'console with greatest drop year over year'. The PS3 will be moving into the 20-25% drop YOY territory and the Xbox 360 will be probably eventually lose all of its year over year gains.
