Forums - Nintendo - Muramasa: The Demon Blade REVIEW by Eurogamer

Are we discussing an Eurogamer review?? :O

Serious guys... what's next? Discuss Gamespot reviews?

Really, did you play Odin Sphere? It's awesome!!!!!!!!! Even if it was some reputed western reviewer (which is definitely not the case)... they don't know how to review JRPGS! (except FF, which is always awesome no matter how boring, emo, childish or guess-the-right-option it is).

And worse than this is see how this affects people judgement (which is clear in here). Bahhh

Very odd how I expected this game to be some kind of hidden gem. It had the potential to be unique, groundbreaking and beautiful. It feels very surprising to read that other than it's artistic design, the game is shallow and lacks depth.

"Artistically Odin Sphere is one of the most marvellous videogames we've yet played. The inimitable character designs, varied and exquisite backgrounds, glorious soundtrack, considered voice acting and engaging storyline pull together in a consistent way few other games manage. However the game they clothe fails to engage in a similar way. While the immediacy of the action will grab all comers right from the off - the simplest of button inputs resulting in exciting explosions of action on-screen - the repetition, made worse by the game's difficulty and drawn out length, ensures that few who start on this adventure will ever finish it."

They gave Odin Sphere the same score and the above quote makes me wonder.. I'm sure this game will be a decent if not a great Wii title.

Pixel Art can be fun.

I do not read to much into reviews. I like the way this game is looking and from the different screen shots and the gameplay videos. It is a day one buy for me.

eurogamer sucks as a review site. they'er kinda like RPGFan and GI, i doubt they even play the games.
