All those massive threads on arguing about F3 and GT5(P), and no-one has a driving wheel.

true, in one of the polish sites some sony fanboys were saying that GT5 will be better than Forza 3, that Forza 3 will be just an arcade game and GT5 is the only true simulator and thing is that when i said that i will be getting Fanatecs wheel with a game i was laughed by those duds they are playing with DualShock 3 in GT5P that is superior than 360 controler - i was floored then.

i hope those fanatec wheels will be cheaper or someother company will make a cheaper ones cause 330 euros for a wheel is kinda pricey

Some people just like a good argument I guess.

And I would never pay 330 Euros for a wheel, even if it's a Fanatec. Hell, a G25 is even less than that.

i hope MS will release new version of Xbxo 360 wireless wheel.

^ I heard it was a mediocre wheel, though Ive never actually used it myself. Im sue it could be improved though...

I use a G25. After you got used with a wheel, you will never be satisfy with a controller again.
A wheel really brings the realism of a racing sim to a higher level than a controller.

The ability to control the turning angle and the pedal pressure like the real car really gives you a smoother ride and cut a few 10th of a second of your best lap.

Not to mention force feedback is wonderful.

The Fanatec wheel is nice but the price is too high because of the Porsche brand.
You need an AC adapter to use the force feedback anyways, so the wireless is pretty much useless.

i don't care bout wireless thing since i wanted 360 mainly for racing games so i will keep both my console and monitor on my desk so i can place there some nice wheel and keep pedals under it but then again i would like to have a nice and decent racing rig that won't cost me more than 100-120$.

Driving Force GT...but after reading some reviews and such on G25...i regret not getting it....

it's ok though...made my driving game experiences much better...although i have to say...other than GT5P...the accuracy of the steering wheel is horrid...i went back to controller for other games...

anyone else notice that or is it just the Driving Force GT....i highly doubt it's the wheel itself...i wish there was some sort of fix for it...games like Grid and Burnout Paradise especially noticeable

Most of the racing game don't support 900' turn wheels but GT5P fully supports it. That's the reason for your accuracy issue.

And many 900' wheels don't have the option to lock the turning angle to 180' or 270' for the arcade games..

Wii Wheel myself.

Pixel Art can be fun.

I don't care about wireless either but it's good to have. Too bad it's crippled.

My G25 has 4 cables hanging over the wheel stand and it's kind of annoying when I want to pack it up to make room for my room sometimes.

According to the beta testers,

I heard the Fanatec wheel has stronger if not similar force feedback than the G25. It's single motor but pretty strong. G25 has dual motors.
And the Fanatec wheel uses the belt for the turning mechanic so you may feel a smoother turn than the G25.

But there were some random issues for some testers as the product was still in beta. I didn't do further research since I don't plan to own one as I already got a G25.

According to the Fanatec website,

the wheels that support Xbox360 will be 10,000 limited edition and they are all out of stock until september.
