Forums - Gaming - I just might buy a 360 in the fall or early next year,

You'd be better off with a gaming PC, much more and better games, and there's Steam which beats Xbox Live in nearly every comparable way.

hehe... except RE5 and Gears 2 which he said he enjoyed are not on PC. Not yet anyways.

Also, he will spoend the money he is saving to buy an xbox on a videocard alone.

GPUs are cheaper than ever, you can build a gaming PC for only $400 that will crush PS3 and Xbox 360 visually. For less than $100 you can buy great high end GPUs nowadays. And it will be even cheaper for him if he intends to wait until fall or next year like he said.

There as been a lot of talk lately about Project Natal. We will probably hear more about it but a rumor says that maybe an enhanced version of the Xbox will come out with Natal. Don't rush your buy...

Get a gaming pc, it has all the games or will get all the games 360 has (atleast the ones worth playing). RE5 is allready being planned for PC.

360 is a great choice because of the sheer amount of cheap legacy titles that can be found. I recommend Mass Effect and Fable 2 before anything else. Also make sure you check out Castle Crashers on XBLA. You will have more fun with the local multiplayer on that than you have ever had with any other game.

The thread is about a list of 360 games, so lets leave the PC dick measuring bullsh*t at the door.  Also if you would have read the original post instead of quickly scanning it and giving a knee-jerk response you would haven known that some of his friends have 360s and that's part of the reason he is getting one.

Really?  Games like Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Halo 3, Lost Odyssey, and others games exclusive to the 360 or multi-platform titles not on PC aren't worth playing?  As for making a claim that the PC will get all the Xbox 360 games worth playing, stop making promises for something without knowing for a fact if it'll happen or not.  Oh and you should also take the same advice I gave to Shio.

Some good games are coming to the 360 and a lot of classic games exclusive to 360. Another game system will mean more games to play but will cost you more to buy all the games you want on it though.
The PC gamers who posted in this thread contribute nothing towards helping the OP in formualting a decision on whether or not to buy a 360.

hmmm, GoW came to pc, halo 1&2 came to pc, fable came to pc, mass effect came to pc , Last Remnant came to pc.

There's a high chance those games you just mentioned will also be ported to pc.

If his friends have 360 then sure he can go get it, I just suggested this as an alternative :/
