Forums - Gaming - I love Hideo Kojima *Spoilers for MGS4*

I just finished Metal Gear Solid 4 last night and well..that game blew my mind. I was so excited to get to see Big Boss at the end because ever since I played MGS3, he was one of my favorite video game characters ever. Kojima really went all out with this game. I mean, I got to battle using Metal Gear REX. :D

MGS3 was an amazing game and told an excellent story but MGS4 topped it tenfold.

I agree completely, MGS4 to me is beyond the best game I have ever played (I expect alot of flaming after this comment) I am currently playing through FF VII and its an amazing game, MGS4 surpasses it by far though (to me atleast).

Haha..Spoilers cracks me up. I'm guessing the entire gaming community on the internet already knows how it ends. Awesome ending though....I love it. Microwave Hall EPIC...

Completely agree, one of the best games I've ever played. The overall production values in this game are second to none. Although newer games may top it graphically, MGS4 is the complete package. The scenes where multiple events were occurring at the same time were amazing (particularly where you had to fight a number of Geckos and all I wanted to do was watch the Vamp/Raiden fight happening above!). The ending was epic, great fan service and just a joy to play.

MGS 4 was good. However, in my opinion no way does it surpass MGS 3 in terms of story telling. The ending in MGS 3 was epic with a twist no one saw coming. I don't want to spoil the ending of MGS 3 but I was in awe watching it. MGS 4 was good but I was not awed at the end though seeing Big Boss was a nice addition.

Now Playing: Crysis 2

Last Finished: BulletStorm

I've never played MGS3 (I know, I fail!). I'd love to pick it up (as well as all the other great PS2 games I missed) but my PS2 is unreliable and my PS3 is not BC! When I mentioned the ending in MGS4 was epic, I meant the whole end sequence (from the assualt on the ship, the microwave scene and the fight with Liquid) it was just so enjoyable to watch and play. Will have to get hold of MGS3 someday though .
