People have already posted off screen shots that look better then you're cherry picked hater fest.

They are ingame shots provided by IGN.  Most of the screen shots you see that look amazing are shot in photo mode.  The same can be said for Forza 3.  It is well know that GT5P has aliasing issues / screen tearing. 

200,000 polygon is about right.

This can only be great for both sides, 360 owners and PS3 owners.

360 owners now have a game that can "match" the legendary GT series in terms of graphics and simulator.

PS3 owners, like myself, will enjoy Polyphony picking up on Forza 3 and improving every bit of aspects they can in the GT5 final release.

Competition is GREAT. It is what makes game developers improve themselves.

Am I the onlyone happy this is happening? Come on, tis is great news! This can only mean greater games to come from these two development powerhouses.

I just took some from the first couple of pages from the image gallery.  I could have posted more.  Like I said, most of these amazing shot we are seeing for both Forza 3 and GT5P are taken in photo mode.  One image is rendered with added effects like anti-aliasing.  It does not in any way depict what the ingame shots look like.

Erm, what? You don't think the better looking pics were "cherrypicked"?

omg dude! did you go dumpster diving for GT4 pics??  the last pic looks reasonable...but the rest look like someone tampered with them or they are GT4 pics photoshoped with it saying ign or GT5.

I know GT5:P does not look as bad as those pics...

Not to discredit GT5P or Forza 3 but most of the shots are from photo mode and not ingame. 

wow im not one to complain about graphics but that's insanely jaggy. Horrible even. Forza 3 DOES look better than this, by far.

Have i been lied to by the fanboys this whole time?...those pics look around as good as Forza 2, which isn't saying much...
