I could post some pictures of newborn baby kittens that you know are going to good homes if you like? 
We could not kill them, and just see how millions of stray animals works for the US health situation.
I love my pets, but I think human life is a little more important then a cat or dogs.

I guess to him life only means you're breathing. It's irrelevant if you're working a third if your life in the service of others.

Would you rather have us kill all the unwanted babies a few weeks into their lives? Like we do with kittens. It's better to terminate a pregnancy before the baby is born, it's a far far better deal for us than with cats.

I would rather all babies live.
But by your logic a baby kitten's life is more valuable than an unborn HUMAN baby. Let me tell you, just because you can see the baby kitten and it being cute and all is no excuse for you to choose that kitten over a person. A person should not be expendable.
But back to the point: just because a baby is not out of the womb does not mean it's not alive. Contraceptives and even neutering (for those assholes on the jerry springer and maury shows) is what is needed to stop overpopulation, not infanticide. Also maybe just put saltpeter in every food to tone down the sexual drive of many people.

Yes, and sadly that's all that can be done. Most people want pure breeds so most don't adapt from shelters. Also, even if they did there is just so much abandoned/ extra pets that there would never be enough homes for them all. 
Nintendo still doomed?
