The wii can barely handle a flip book. The ground is flat looking but the detail in the last screen shows that if they wanted to add more detail to the first screen shot they could. I think that it may still need work. I love my wii by the way but likes not go saying a game like FFXIII could run on a wii lol.

These are horribly captured screens taken straight from the latest trailer. Just go watch the trailer. It looks much better, plus it shows off the excellent animations.

And yeah, based on the demo and the trailer, I'd say flat ground is the only complaint you could levy against the game's visuals. :P

I remember being impressed when they showed the first trailer for this game. Now... it looks just like any other game to be honest which is fine by me because it means the industry's been growing at a good pace! =P

I especially want to see the effects on summons and special attacks. I loved them in FFXII, I hope we'll see something like that in this game.

I could care less about the visuals as long as it has a brilliant story and great gameplay, it seems like nowadays people care more about the details on each individual blade of grass than the part of the game where you actually get to push buttons

I believe there's a limit to how bad it could look though. I mean, it is a 360/PS3 title, not Wii/PS2, there are standards to follow. If one of the most anticipated titles of this generation can't look better or as good as what's been released yet, there's a problem me thinks! o_O

Bear in mind these are low-res images. I can guarantee this game will look a 100 times better than anything you'll ever see on the PS2 or Wii.

i talk about the graphics, resolution is not graphics, some Wii games look great actually but the resolution ruins them

Wii graphics are better than they seem, imagine MH3 in HD 720p for example

graphics in FF13, pics 2-4 for example look awesome, and there's no fucking way those can be done on Wii (for god's sake)

i'm just saying pics 1 and 5 could be much better

What the game lacks in detail will be made up in scope. Its pretty, but plain (generally speaking).
