Don't worry I'm sure it'll have good legs, this is a PS3 game after all and not every PS3 owner uses there PS3 for games, so that's why game sales are usually a little low. Also it wasn't hyped that much, it had decent marketing. But just look at all the other new IPs and there first week I'm sure InFamous will be the same and will probably sell close to 3 million:

What else would People use their PS3 for?...

To play Blu-ray movies....Why would people get a PS3 and not a 200 dollar Blu-ray player?

Because it's a PS3...it play games. A $200 Blu ray player can't do that. You get both options with the PS3. I'm sure you realized that

Seeing how well inFamous did in it's first week of sales I'm expecting it to do better, however due to Prototype being on multiple platforms it may gain an advantage with more possible gamers to purchase the game.

New question: Does it matter?

InFaMoUsE may go on to sell as high as 1.5 million. I don't know about PS3totype, but it may sell more or less than that figure. Neither is going to be a runaway success or sell more than 2.5 million. I don't really care about sales until a game passes 5 million.

All that the sales of Infamous are gonna do is prevent Suckerpunch from making a sequel to Rocket: Robot on wheels, which is a goddamned shame.

All that the sales of Prototype are gonna do is allow another formerly-port developer to jump to the mainstage. That's a good thing.



Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.

If the PS3 had more 3rd party exclusive then i would have no argument...Xbox 360 is the PS2 of this Gen....(As far as games go)

How is the 360 the "PS2" of this gen regarding games? It shares most of its games with the PS3, and the PS3 has first party offerings far more similar to the PS2's. Your argument doesn't hold up.

Just coun't all the Xbox 360 games including Multi plat's and do tha same for PS3
