No, it's been made better then it actually is to compenstate for the lack of quality games on the PS3. It is a average FPS at best that does nothing we haven't done in MANY other FPS games.

Average at best?

It sold more than 2 million copies(the chartz havent been updated since June)

These rumours are going to persist as long as keeping the games exclusive is going to mean SE and Konami stand a good chance at losing lots and lots of money. Everybody denying loss of exclusivity doesn't really mean much here, because denying stuff like this for ages and suddenly doing a complete turn-around, or even publishers deciding to have another team port the game without asking the original developers is pretty normal in the gaming industry.
FFXIII looks like it's going to be late 08 for Japan and 09 for the West, so it's the more likely of the two to remain PS3-only. The franchise also sells the most in Japan, and while the PS3 is doing horribly there, the 360 is still far weaker.
MGS 4 might actually launch as an exclusive, but making the inevitable remake that comes out in a year a multiplat is a complete no-brainer for the suits in Konami. It's important to note that at least 3/4 of the sales of all MGS titles have been outside Japan, so the 360's weakness there isn't much of an issue.
I don't see either one of them being ported to the Wii as likely, although they'd probably sell pretty well if the ports were decently done, and not released too much later than the originals.
Leo, get it through your head.
1) The game was and still is bundled.
2) Any new person coming in to the PS3 picks it up due to a severely lacking library.
3) Sony has shipped 2 million copies, not sold to consumers.
Resistance is average at best and Sony fans hype it up because the system doesn't offer anything else, except for Motorstorm which I prefer anyway.

Not saying the others won't sell... however resistance was a launch game. A couple launch games are always going to have HUGE sales boosts, cause people gotta buy games. At launch people are more likely to pick up games they wouldn't pickup at any other point in a consoles life.
Furthermore the game is also bundled.
Besides which, as for your later post. If sales = game quality then Wii play would also be an amazing game. It isn't however. The tanks game is kinda fun though. It's like "Combat" for the Atari, and i can never get anyone to play "Combat" with me.

I believe that Konami will look very closely at the lacking userbase of the PS3 and begin a port (after persuasion from MS) well before releasing the PS3 version.
SE will wait longer, as their game isn't due out for a year. In this case due to an expanded userbase (MGS4, LBP, Tekken and price cuts), the deciding factor will be how much MS is willing to pay for the game.

If these games do go to the 360 as ports, when will they come out?

I firmly believe FFXIII is still Playstation only, but Metal Gear, it kinda gets around.

I found this little tidbit in the sea of the Halo 3 press.

Releasing it on FFXIII on X-Box 360 is the biggest step in achieving this goal.
The only way a PS3 exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4 will hit Resistance esque numbers, is if they throw it in free when you buy a box of Fruit Loops.
