I dont see much point in this. Sure the Apple store has alot of stuff but adding a Psn store and a video section should be enough. They could possibly get some of the games on the App store onto the Psn aswell.

Why wouldn't mini games and apps work on existing PSPs? Unless they later introduce touchscreen, motion, camera etc, then the apps/games for the Go should all work with the old PSPs

They could definitely use a Music store for the PSP and a comic store, both of which were promised.
Small quirky cheap games and apps is much welcome, we don't want all the crap stuff they have on the app store, but it's definitely welcome.

Nothing is obvious with Sony, this should've been there a long ago, seems like it will though considering they dropped the dev kit price and stuff.

It's not obvious since the PSP games will be sold over the PS Store. If Sony are opening up a new section dedicated to small games and applications, then that is a good move, and hardly one many had predicted.

i would defo get it if they do since my gamestop offer a deal that i could trade in my old psp and get the new one cheaper... they did it for the ds for the dsi so id bet they'd do it with this
