Naa I think they do it on purpose so they can create some "buzz" and take some of the spotlight from the others.

Long teased Mario project? Didn't they only say there was a new Mario game in the works about a week before the show? And wasn't that straight from the top of Nintendo themselves?

Nintendo expected Sony motion control last year already. So Sony has no secrets lol...

Anyway no one knew about the new metroid, super mario galaxy2, new super mario bros. wii, golden sun now did they?

there were strong rumors that a new Mario was coming, but we all thought galaxy 2. Then at E3 they had a booth up you could see through the curtains and tell it was NSMB, so people dropped the Galaxy 2. Then Nintendo sprung both on us, so yes/no for Mario




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Nintendo keeps secrets pretty dam well. Sony doesn't. Someone needs to tell them to deal with it.

Sony has had motion controls for 6 years. Just not very used. But it was there.

Staude I mean for the ps3 and I don't mean the eyetoy for ps2. If that's what you mean.
That's why Nintendo announced Wiimotion+ at E3 2008 because they really believed Sony would announce motion control.

@Nordlead: I was expecting Mario party 9 lol :P

Sony has had motion controls for the ps3 since 2006. Both the sixaxis and the ps eye.

 

Both delivering different motion control experiences than the wii but both great when used properly.
