"Current Xbox 360 games would be playable on it, but future games would be able to take advantage of the added muscle."

So if any new games such as Halo/Gears etc. were to use that 'added muscle', all current 360 owners need to buy the new Xbox? Is this the new console Epic Games were talking about going to develop the news Gears on the Next Xbox?

PS3 > Xbox360 at the end of the generation since the new Xbox720 will be out before the PS4

Will they just tack on optional motion controls which aren't going to be used by those who have the old Xbox? That doesn't lead to good motion controls.

Natal will work with the old 360s as well, this straight from MS at E3. You will have the option to use the origion xbox controller, or Natal (perhaps both at the same time?) so a simple update is all that devs need to put out.

But im amazed at how a $600 Xbox can out sell the much cheaper $299 PS3,Esp for this hole generation.

The average lifetime of every non-Playstation console has only been 5 years. Only Playstation can go 10 years lol

No, it will still be a 360. Thats like saying the PS3 slim is a completely new console.

There could very well be 2 versions of the game.
