Okay, apparently Ahmadinejad is basing victory on the fact that he leads with 69% of the vote after 20% of the ballots were counted. Somehow, I doubt Tehran was part of that 20%.

Heard that there is more then likely fraudulent activity going on at the ballot offices. Voting offices taken over by the red gaurd instead of the regular army, unclearness over the amount of ballots printed, certain offices in districts closing at ten already etc.

Al Jazeera (English) just reported that Ahmadinejad has won 67% of the 15 millions votes counted and that he is going to win the election. This is surprising, to say the least.

All parties with at least a chance claim victory early on just in case... hey.. it worked for the republicans in 00. Ahmadinejad won or will win, and we will see little policy change.

the terrorists have reelected their terrorist leader. a landslide victory.

Amadinajad apparently "won" with an outragiously high majority and even won in opposition strongholds which is a cear indication of rigging.

"Like you know"

Damn. Amadinejad crushed him.

I'm hesitant to call "rigging." Perhaps the youth movement that supported the Reformists was merely a disproportionately vocal minority?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

The elections in Iran was pointless.

No matter who would of won they aren't really the leader of the country.

Barak Obama coulda won and it would of changed nothing.

Iran is not ruled by the President though ;)

Like Kasz said, the election is pointless because the religious leaders in Iran have all the power.

The results were obviously fixed, I have a hard time seeing any candidate anywhere get re-elected with a 30% unemployment rate like Iran has.
