If I recall correctly, Goku's gluttony only made him stronger and faster. Though I don't see why someone would think Batman a match for Superman. Superman is a crappy character though, he has no real flaws.

Oh boo hoo, superman has no real flaws... OH COURSE BECAUSE HIS SUPERMAN!   Do you want a heros with flaws?  They become alchoholics like Tony Stark.

goku is faster and stronger better variety of powers a better fighter (by miles) and is far more interesting

Most of the DBZ cast sucked because they were all under goku.  Since Goku isn't good enough to beat Superman.

Guess what, Superman can survive in space.  Supz punches core of planet Goku shits himself and floats off in space gasping for air while he further soils himself.

Superman's weakness is Kryptonite. When faced with Kryptonite, Superman turns into a whiny little bitch. At this point, any girl scout can whip his ass. When faced with Kryptonite, Batman would take a big ol' Bat-Shit on that green rock. Then he'd kick your ass. There's no rock in the galaxy (not even Duane Johnson) that scares Batman.

Everyone knows Jesus is the best superhero. If I could choose one superpower it would certainly be turning water into wine, can superman do that? Didn't think so lol.

Your evidence for Superman above is all well and good but still no Superman is better then Cap A, huh? Because he isn't.

But here's a nice little thing for you on the Superman Vs Jesus thing you posted above, key point is that Superman beat up Jesus...what a f**ing bar-steward. Both are in character it seems, Superman being all shady and rubbish and Jesus, forgiving him.

OK, I just listed to that whole song, and I agree with you that Superman > Batman. But, Goku would put up a great fight and might even win....

Define "best", OP. Does best mean most interesting, biggest following, most powerful? In each instance, I can name characters that trump Superman. Silver Surfer is infinitely more powerful than Superman. The entire Daxamite race (DC Comics) is more powerful, too. Doomsday punched Superman to death. Goku is Doomsday on meth. He gets stronger with each fight, and he can fly, teleport, throw energy blasts, and think creatively. Batman, the X-Men, and even Spider-Man outsell his comic and out gross his movies at the box office. Most interesting? This is a subjective term, but I don't think Superman is the king of this arena either. I like Superman. His death in 1993 led to me becoming a (serious) fan of comic books. Just because he can win a fictional fight, and the outcome of comic book fights is always up to the discretion of the writer, I can't claim that he's the best.

----and the Star Wars theme is better than Superman's theme. There. I said it.

Superman is more classic. But he has a basic perosonality. Which also has a basic storyline.But I prefer story more than action
