Forums - Nintendo - Move over WiiPlay - here comes BBAPlay?

Wii Play never had a place in my heart. This BBA bundle is a better deal.

much, much, much better than WiiPlay.

why didn't nintendo think of this earlier? WiiPlay is a waste of... 10 bucks.

funny--how it'll be the wiimote selling BBA rather than the other way around.

Wii Play is not that bad.  It's 10 bucks... The shooting game is fun if you like that sort of thing and the tank game is fun, too.  It's 10 bucks, what are you expecting, Metroid 4?

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)
Systems I've owned: PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, Genesis, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, GBA, GB, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and 5200, Sega Game Gear, Vectrex, Intellivision, Pong.  Yes, Pong.

BBA is fun. My Wife got it, and we take turns kicking each other's asses. It's worth looking into.

Move over Wii games, real live is here!

lol, I had to say it. Wii Play isn't that great, it's only redeeming factor is that it comes with a Wii-mote so it's not like you're spending a whole lot on it. Too bad the tank game has been the only fun one my friend and I really enjoyed.

i have only heard good thinga about BBA bt never playe dit...thinking about this one

Wow, that's a very nice deal. I loved BBA: Wii Degree but it wasn't worth the $50 (US) I payed for it. Hope this comes to America too.

Nintendo could help out third parties by introducing bundles like Rayman + Wiimote, Elebits + Wiimote, MArvel Ultimate Alliance + Wimote etc ...

Heeeeyyyy!!!! <Snap>

Hmmm... a lot of the comments here seem to like the idea:

...and like the idea of then trading in BBA once its bought (I know EB will give $40 several titles for *any* Wii game - including WiiPlay). Turns into a $40AU Wiimote deal?

Gotta wonder how much money Nintendo is making on each Wiimote...

if i were nintendo i'd consider bundling both bba and play together with wiimote, as play is only bought for wiimote anyway - it'd be worth it as what you'd lose in sales of individual game sales you'd make back in fantastic pr / value for money and then going into christmas if there ever was any unsures about what console to get for gifts the wii suddenly becomes a fantastic deal.

Eventually anybody reckon we'll see a wii starter pack with bba, play, zelda crossbow training and zapper bundled in with wii sports, wii and 2 wiimotes?

Those people that think they're perfect give a bad reputation to us who are...

"With the DS, it's fair to say that Nintendo stepped out of the technical race and went for a feature differentiation with the touch screen, but I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick - so the long-lasting appeal of the platform is at peril as a direct result of that." - Phil Harrison, Sony
