I'm disapointed in Prototype reviews thus far. Game Informer hits it with a 7.25:

1up: 6.7

IGN: 7.5

Gamepro 9.0

I don't know who to trust anymore. Where is the VG chartz review? I don't have time for sub-par games. I hope this one isn't sub par.

As I have stated several times, most credible reviewers gave the game a very average score while only low profile reviewers gave the game high scores. Stuff like this is exactly why you can't trust metacritic.

Trust gamepro. They don't review based on how high the production values are, judging from the score they based it on how much fun they had.

This is so true that it is a fact.

I'm afraid none of our reviewers have signed up for Prototype, so if you meant an official VGC review there won't be any for a while probably.

Seems IGN isn't the odd man out anymore, but instead we have two warring groups of love it and think it was average.

I can review it as a freelancer if VGC sends me a copy :)

I have not trusted game informer since they gave no more heroes a 6!



plus x-play(my favorite reviewer) gave it a 8

Not to mention they have a tendency to give games scores that are higher or lower than deserved.  Seriously, GamePro are not a credible source.

Having played one or two hours, I can say it's a good game, you can definitely pull some crazy things and it makes it fun. Though I don't know how much diversity it will hold, maybe I'll get tired of this at the 10th hour. Still, I recommend it

Whats wrong with people? Why do you trust any reviews? Look at the footage, rent if unsure...but why do you care what other people that play this game have to say.

Like id be cautious if the game was getting 4/10 accross the board...but its still over 80 on metacritic and it should easily stay there.
