Well nintedo did increase the video game audeince. Vut I dought they change any rules

Sure they did, The arms race is now no longer for the best graphical tech, its now about the best interface.

A better example would be how Microsoft and Sony are now talking about how it's their grand vision to expand the audience and reach new gamers. Yep, that was their plan all along!

Agreed..Also, I like the pic in your sig, pretty funny.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

Yeah, my big revelation this E3 is that Microsoft spends more money on booze than any other hardware vendor.

Not surprising at all, unfortunately.

Great interview, I've got a lot of respect for Iwata.

That vitality sensor does sound interesting-I'm a stress head so cheap, easy software that reduces my stress levels would be welcome. Also, it's a great device for horror games. If you're too relaxed, the game can try harder to scare you. Maybe next E3 Sadness will show up with Vitality sensor compatibility =P

Or Eternal Darkness or a new IP? Who knows, but Nintendo have some great ideas for the future.

Wow, my respect for the man just increased substantially! I like it how he doesn't have formal business school training because personally I hate it. I hate how it teaches you to think like a drone on a borg cube rather than as an individual.

Tease.

Iwata is prolly the greatest CEO to grace the video game industry. He understands the market, something alot of the CEOs cannot and will not do. I think Nintendo is in very good shape with him at the helm and I believe they will make few errors.
