We'll I have a Jasper. I hope that makes a difference. From what people tell me it doesn't. But one thing to know is you get the free repair only once. After that they charge. So I'm treading with caution.

That's not true. E74 and RROD are covered for 3 years. The only policy change that's been made is that they no longer send you the "coffin" (the box to package and send your 360 in). You have to pay shipping and handling to send it to them. They still pay for shipping and handling on return though.

Getting back onto topic...

I find that playstation reviewers are rating the game higher then 360 reviewers... Even though the game seems to be the same or very close to the same on both platforms...

I think the main reason is Crackdown set the standard on 360 for this type of game and on the PS, reviewers are reviewing it within the context of inFamous setting the standard. I haven't played inFamous yet, but I have played Crackdown.

I feel that Prototype adds stuff Crackdown didn't but it is two years later and so they should've been able to do that. If I was a reviewer I would have a hard time giving Prototype a much higher score then Crackdown. Hence why it is hovering at near Crackdown numbers by 360 reviewers.

From what I have read inFamous is just a different take on the same type of game so depending on your preferences you will like one, the other, or both. That is why you are seeing PS reviewers give it similar numbers to inFamous.

That doesn't mean either console is better then the other... It just means they are being held to different standards for comparison. Personally I like Prototype and Crackdown a lot... I will also get inFamous as well because it looks great to... The way I see it gamers can't lose on these three games.

From what I understand they repair it for free once. You used to get infinate RROD/e74 repairs within the 3 years but they don't do that anymore. If I'm wrong that's good to know.

OT; I have inFamous and it is a GREAT game. If Prototype is even close to inFamous then it is quality.

That's the Xbox 360 hardware repair FAQ. I just scanned through it and didn't find anything regarding a limit to one free repair. I actually had a first gen 360 that I had repaired twice before getting an Elite this past holiday season and I haven't heard anything about restrictions to only 1 free repair. I\m hoping that hasn't changed and everything I've searched through thus far confirms that it hasn't.

I think you need a "so far". Because the game is at Infamous levels while it only has 14 reviews while Infamous slowly trickled down and settled at 85. Prototype has gone down like a brick and I predict it going down quite a bit more actually.

I prefer the PS3 controls because they don't use batteries and am scared of RROD. The PS3 version it is then.

Wow......seriously steriod,  you may want to at least pretend you own a 360 before commenting unintelligently regarding your controller preference.  Fanboys give me headaches, enjoy you stay in Banville, population.......you

On topic:  If you prefer the 360 controller over the PS3's (as do I) than the choice is easy considering there is no apparent difference between the two versions.  I may just pick this up my PS3 though, because I need to continue to increase my library.  Infamous first though.

Wanna see what the front of my 360 looks like?

BAM! There it is.... You know what making assumptions makes you look like?

Let's get somthing straight. RROD is real, it still happens. And if I want to get multiplats on PS3 in order to avoid it that's not trolling, it's comming sense. Welcome to reality, population: everyone.

Good job Steroid!

Thats what I call UBER PAWNAGE!!

It would be illegal to only repair your 360 once if it's within the warranty.

This is the truth... I know some friends who are on their 3rd-4th xbox 360's and it's covered them every time.

I want to avoid it regardless.
