I'm pretty sure you're all probably sick of reading about Prototype and its reviews (mainly because of derailment into inFamous vs. Prototype) but bear with me here. I'm considering getting this game and I have all the platforms that it's out for. Obviously the PC version will have the greatest visual fidelity and run the smoothest but in order to play with it on my HDTV and 5.1 speakers I'll have to mess around with settings and stuff and even then it won't be played in 5.1. So I decided to choose between the PS3 and 360 versions when I found a weird anomole in reviews.

Weird that the same site gave the game two very different scores. One got a score of "good" while the other got a score of "outstanding/excellent". So I went looking to see if there was any discernable difference between the two versions and I didn't find anything from the other reviews out there. Does anyone know if there are any differences?

It was reviewed by two different guys, most likely the difference in opinion, and sometimes it can be that great.

I figured it was two different reviewers but wanted to make sure that there wasn't a difference between the two games. I prefer the 360 controller so if it's all the same then the 360 version it is.

There is a few points difference in the version's Metacritic scores, but if these reviews are included, that could be the sole reason.

I prefer the PS3 controls because they don't use batteries and am scared of RROD. The PS3 version it is then.

That's fine. I watched that review and read many others. I'm asking why the same site gave the same game on two platforms marginally different reviews. This has nothing to do with that. I don't know why you're trying to convince me that it's a "bad" game.

If you're trying to convince me to get inFamous over Prototype I don't see why you're doing that either. I have all the major current gen platforms and a gaming PC. I will play inFamous and Prototype at one point or another. You're adding nothing to this thread.
