So do Darth you think a PSP Go and GT bundle would help?
I don't see why they haven't if they're both launching at the same time.

My point is... in what way does the evidence support his statement, that Europeans don't care much about price? If it was that way, the 600 € price would have been fine for the PS3.
Don't forget the PSP Go also has competitors, including the PSP 3000...

"Just like the PS3's high retail price didn't have a negative impact on its sales? "
Difference here is Ps3 had a high price or a higher price option. Psp already has a low price option. Introducing a new model will have no negative effect since there is already a model out... unless you expect people to stop buying the 3000 because the Go launches.
"We'll see, I think after a couple of weeks the 3000 will be selling more ..."
What do you mean? Are you saying that more people will be willing to buy the 3000 after the Go launches? Example - It's selling 100k a week then after the Go launches the 3000 starts selling 120k a week... if thats what you mean it doesn't make sense. Or are you saying the 3000 will sell more than the go...
"Remember when they trusted that the PS3 would sell with a price of 599$? I give them 8 months before the price drops 70$."
Doubt it. Of course the price will drop later but why would they drop it to the 3000 price? 50 dollars is more like it. I'm also fairly confident Sony knows they will be doing this.
@NJ5
he's new though.....maybe he forgot about that
@Lord Flashheart
It would help a lot
BUT still......PSP 3000 + GT:P bought sseperately would cost less!

They're not just making a profit, they're making a HUGE profit. PSP-3000 is already profitible, and the PSP Go! is suppossedly even cheaper to manufacture and that's not even counting the increased margin of profit that comes with downloaded sales versus retail sales. People seem to be under the impression that this thing isn't going to sell and therefore is a failure, but people fail to realize that this thing could sell half of what the PSP-3000 does and still completely cover any loss SCE is still facing selling the PS3 at $399.99 and probably even then some. It's also worth noting that Japan is going to go nuts over this thing. Virtually all PSP games have been available through digital distribution in Japan for a while now. The PSP Go! is perfect for Japan.
I hope no-one buys one then gets a few second hand games to play on it as well.
