Forums - Microsoft - Project NATAL vs Sega's Activator

Back in the 1990s, Sega decided it would introduce a motion control, called "Activator", for the Genesis.  You can see the video here on it in action:

It suffered the same fate as the Power Glove, though not nearly as memorable, because it didn't end up in a videogame movie.  This being said, NATAL is promising what Activator promised.  Just curious if NATAL will actually deliver, with or without Milo.

natal has now what the 16bit days didn't, and thats advanced gaming..

3D worlds, racing, shooters, all more powerful and can embrace the technology better and more efficient then old school 2d games..


also with the power of the web, forums, advertising links, and gaming tv stations you have more knowledge of whats out there, back in the day nobody knew what the Activator was even if they had it on a morning show.

I wanted the activator... luckily I had no money and couldn't waste it on that piece of junk anyways




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
