Forums - Nintendo - Post your impressions on Wii Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 with Motion Plus here:

Disc golf is one of the most addictive things you'll ever play. Works so well. Perfect 1:1 right there.

The golf aspect is just as fun. You know it is really good because I absolutely blow at it haha. It's so close to the real thing that I'm just terrible right now. Got a lot to work and practice to get good. Have a natural fade in my swing and working on getting that out. Then of course putting, which is a huge improvement over 09 edition, is killing me as well.

It is the best and most realistic golf game you'll ever play. If you aren't good at golf, you'll learn that out pretty quick. And if you are a golfer you'll respect how accurate it is. For people who just like golf, you'll love all it has in it. Truly a fun and realistic game. For me, just got keep working on that drive and of course finishing putt.

Just wanted to add that I had time to play the mini-putt mode last night. While the mode amounts to 18 modified (hilly) greens the very fact that I 1) could and 2) would is quite remarkable as putting as aways been a weak point in the game.

But with WM+ it was a lot of fun to just do nothing but putting for a couple hours.

Now I want a full-on mini-putt game.

You should check out Crazy mini golf then, it's a wii motion plus game that didnt exactly get much attention this year at E3:

dont know when it comes out but im off to investigate...

THIS!

(as long as it does not have the name "carnival" anywhere NEAR the title!), or isn't made by Majesco, Conspiracy, Data Design, Crave, Destination, etc)

I'd really like a mini golf game with realistic physics and GOOD mini golf courses, like the old school Putt Putt golf courses used to have. They are more like "mini golf puzzles" than the more prevalent mini golf courses based on, well, pirate ships and dinosaurs. Or even better a mini golf game with many courses, varying from the Putt-Putt "puzzle" type to the Pirate/Dinosaur type.

EDIT: and it NEEDS to have online play as well!

Interesting news on Disc Golf, the PGA of Disc golf (PDGA) has a disc golf game in the works, made by a company I'm not familiar with, Autonomous (so it could be shovelware, or not????).  http://www.pdga.com/wii-love-disc-golf

Before this game, I didn't even know there was a PDGA. They mentioned that the loved this, but they wanted a game where the Frisbee will roll when landing on the edge, and where you can throw tomahawk and other styles. Tiger works perfectly for my tastes, and I'm sure Wii Sports Resort will be phenomenal as well. And after these two games with disc golf, a "disc golf only" game might be bit of a hard sell.

BAM! There it is!

Wii Code 3456 7941 4060 2924
COD MW Reflex 541192229709

Would this be a good father's day gift? My dad likes golf (a lot) and spending time with me (also a lot), and since I'm on the Wii so often (a lot), this seems like the perfect match. Thoughts?

Yeah i read about that game too.  If they get id done right, it could be cool.  Then again, i wouldnt doubt if it turned out to be shovelware, or even vaporware.

Yes.  I think its a great idea, especially because the US open falls on fathers day weekend as well.

If your Dad likes golf, I can't think of a better gift. Plus he'll get a free subscription to one of two golf magazines included with the purchase :)

I've investigated for you. No wonder it didn't get attention at E3. It's made by DATA DESIGN, the makers of such fine games as :

  • Action Girlz Racing
  • Anubis II
  • Billy the Wizard: Rocket Broomstick Racing
  • Kawasaki Quad Bikes
  • Kawasaki Jet Ski
  • Kawasaki Snow Mobiles
  • Kidz Sports Basketball
  • Kidz Sports Ice Hockey
  • Kidz Sports International Soccer
  • LEGO Rock Raiders
  • London Taxi: Rushhour
  • Mini Desktop Racing
  • Monster Trux: Arenas
  • Myth Makers: Orbs of Doom
  • Myth Makers Super Kart GP
  • Myth Makers: Trixie in Toyland
  • Ninjabread Man
  • Offroad Extreme! Special Edition
  • Rock 'N' Roll Adventure
  • Urban Extreme
  • http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_Design

Thanks but, um, no thanks. Not even on WiiWare.

    @radioioRobert

Ouch, that's a rough list of games, so point taken.

That said, isnt it amazing how much better games can look by the addition of wii motion +?
