Forums - Sony - Patcher: Sony is 'ripping off' consumers with PSP Go

When I heard the price at E3 I was like "WOOOOOWWWW thats expensive." IDK why, but before it was announced, I was thinking that it would cost around the same, if not a little bit more, than the PSP 3000. I guess they are hoping that it sells well enough to rake in some money for the company overall and when they break even on each PS3 (or a small profit), lower the price and have the extra money made on PSP's justify their decision to the stock holders. Then again, if they were to redesign the PS3, it would cost less to make sooo....

I just noticed that it should be Pachter in the title and not Patcher. Poor guy, he actually has two identities...

I agree. It's pretty smart and if it does sell at that price... It's a good thing for the playstation unit as a whole. Meanwhile people can still get the cheaper 3000 unit so the complaining should be kept to a minimum.
