Oh geez, I just noticed it's 250 pounds in UK. That's gonna go well with the DSi at £150, the PSP 3000 at £140 and the PS3 at £300.

Now that's a rip-off.

250 pounds? I heard rumours that it will be 219 pounds and some that it will be 180 pounds. If i were you id wait until friday when SCEE's PS blog answers a bunch of questions about the PSP Go (alot of people were asking about pricing in UK/Mainland Europe/ Australia / etc)

It's what Amazon UK has for RRP. They're selling it for £230 though.

lg has some nice washer dryers i admit

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Yeah but the fat slob is what sells them the most software ;) However the PSP GO would have to sell software, unless it gets cracked quickly.

Umm, did I just defeat my own statement? OK, let's say the PS3 is the product Sony would probably like to focus more on.

Though looking at E3 they seem to have spent a longer time and more effort on the PSP which does seem to indicate their focus.

Tease.

Then we can only hope that Amazon made up the price since 250 pounds is rediculous for the PSP Go

I personally believe the psp go will do decent (probably better than decent), its a sony product that actually prints money. It pretty much as no development cost (design from the mylo), it has smaller components than the psp-3000 (smaller = cheaper in the technology world) if I were a betting man, I would say that it costs between $100 - 125 bucks to make one. They can control initial inventory to create shortages and hype, the drumbeat goes on and on.

isnt it slimmer and lighter then any other PSP? isnt it a totally new design, with a screen unlike any of the others? Screw Pachter, if he thinks its too much $ then dont buy it. But dont cry like a communist and claim they are ripping of consumers because they are making a profit.

and iTunes is way overrated. PSP Go > iTouch any day of the week

This is part of the funding for the upcoming PS3 price drop though.

Assumption != fact.

Anyways, I agree with Patcher, if it was dual analog with OLED Touchscreen and g network capabilities, then it wouldn't be a rip off, as it is though, it's a rip off big time.

no g network is a big minus...but i dont think that this is all it has to offer sony could have a lil more up its sleeve with this

Sell a man a fish you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish you just ruined a perfect business opportunity.
