I am curious if anyone knows what happened with the PS3 version of The Last Remnant. A friend was going to buy a PS3 when it came out but I convinced him to buy it early since I found one with B/C. Anyways, there hasn't been much news, but it is odd since there was supposed to be simultaneous release.

 

Does anybody know anything?



Yes I am a fan of the Playstation 3, but I am an even bigger fan of intelligent and rational dialog. (If you are up for an intelligent exchange of ideas, you are more than welcome to add me as a friend)

I believe Microsoft got a years exclusitivity on it and it will be announced at TGS. If it doesn't show up there then, it's a lost cause. I already bought my copy for 360 though and beat it twice.

i completely forgot about that game....i really wanted it...till i played the demo on the pc....it didn't seem too fun...and too late for it to come out...imo

SE did your friend a favor by not suckering him into buying the game. It was glitchy and buggy and that was on the 360! UE runs like crap on the ps3 I'd hate to see it run on the ps3 from incompetent devs.

As of now, there has been 0 SE games on the PS3 =/ I don't see what their logic as a company is, by the time The Last Remnant does come out, it'll be raped by the newer games, and there are plenty of Westerners who own a PS3 (and like JRPGs, and in fact, originally bought their consoles for a certain JRPG *cough* *cough*)

You can't really rail against a company that's out for profit, but SE as far as I'm concerned are making really bad business decisions.

Well 2010 will see alot of releases from SE on Playstation Platforms.

Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy XIV
Possibly Final Fantasy Versus XIII
The Last Remnant if they announce it at TGS

I won't be surprised if a lot of them are delayed. I can't believe that SE had the gall to criticize other Japanese devs when they failed to reach the Western audience like companies such as Campcom did, and can't even release their flagship game after being years into the generation's life cycle.

wow how did u guess??? now u see why we are pissed off that there are no RPG's for PS3. why they focus on dumbass shooters ill never understand especailly since they sell more on 360 and dont move sales for the PS3
