No, I don't think the SixAxis will not go away. Motion control will not be for everybody, thus Sony would be stupid to do away with the older controller.

OMG hellz no, Sixaxis is STILL great.

Flower, Blas Factor, Savage Moon, Folklore, PS3 Version of Dark Sector, HS, WarHawk, Super Rub O' Dub (yes i own this lulz), and so many more.

So YES its still a great little bonus, BUT this so called "Sixaxis" 2.0 seems to look like it'll replace normal sixaxis for some things, though Sixaxis will still be usable with many things to come Versus XIII aswell.

It pretty much died with Lair and Folklore.

It was actually kinda cool in Folklore, a bit gimmicky, but a fun variation. Lair was just a disaster.

SIXAXIS. necessity, no. irrelevant, no. its nice to have a game that uses it as an extra use (folklore) rather than to not have it at all.

GTA4 reloading was the only time i enjoyed the use of sixaxis

I'm pretty sure SIXAXIS has been discontinued for a LONG time... It pretty much died the day Lair came out.

when i saw this thread, i was like 'oh yeh sixaxis!'

i only think i ever used it in the basketball game where you tilt the controller to free throw

seemed like it could have been cool, but it was underdeveloped
