I don't get that either. They didn't mention this, or DQ9, or MH3, or Mario and Sonic Winter Olympics, or Zelda: Spirit Tracks beyond saying it was on the show floor. Instead they had Women's Murder Club and COP: The Recruit. I guess they wanted to highlight diversity?
"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."
Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.
Man, now when I head out to the gym I can lose weight and buff up my Pikachu. Nobody will be able to stop us now!

I don't think many people would be caught dead walking outside with that thing. I mean...Pokemon was big...but that was a long time ago. You wear that now...I don't even want to imagine.

Was big? Are we talking about the same series, here, where even the smallest main entry title is guaranteed to break five million?
I wonder what ingenious ways people will come up with to manipulate this. Tie it to their cat? Tape it to the pendulum of a grandfather clock? Or something so ingenious that I cannot even fathom it yet?
Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.

When I had that Pikachu pedometer and I wasn't doing anything in particular, I would shake it with my hand. You could get a lot of steps very quickly.
Uncool and cheating, sure, but it worked.
interesting... i guess including a pedometer with the game would give people a bit more incentive to buy the game instead of pirating it. Though it would've been cool if the thing let you battle with other people - digimon style
