Forums - Gaming - E3 2009: Microsoft made competition look foolish

The HD consoles have been spanking the Wii in internet polls ever since this generation started. Too bad internet polls don't actually have anything to do with the real world.

There is a difference between vision and reality....

There is a difference between speculation and reality.

It's a pretty obvious (and pretty good) pun.

Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.

lol you posted this 2 minutes before your other thread?

are you just trying to get a discussion going? or did your opinion change?

Microsoft made the poor innocent girl look foolish. :(

I totally agree. NATAL is the shit. Can't wait.

The reactions from Natal are SO funny from the sony fanboys, it's really pathetic and sad...there's the following:

- Natal is just a pipedream, and M$ isn't going to be able to deliver

- Then, they contradict themselves by saying, well PS Eye-crap in better...HUH? Won't that make it VERY likely that M$'s solution can be done then?

- Then, there's the Natal isn't going to be main stream, because sony had eye-crap for years and did nothing with it.

- Then there's the ps eye is coming out with feature that will replicate and top Natal...lol...right...sony doing software better than M$...keep dreaming.

The reality is that Natal was the most stunning demo display at this E3 or in many years, and M$ stole the show with an amazing presentation. Now, where things go from here is still in flux, but there's no denying that nothing presented at E3 matched Natal...and the coverage of E3 reflected that. Motion Plus was kicked to the curb, as was whatever that embarrassing display was by sony. All of sony's vaunted game portfolio was null by Natal, and sony is going to be reeling for the next 12 moths to top that at E3 2010...while M$ will unveiled another bombshell. I've been saying this since last E3...M$ is "taking ownership" of E3, as they are looking at it as their Flagship presentation on the yearly calendar. 2010 E3 will probably have the Xbox 360+, imho...or something monumental.

It's fine, i just don't see myself having fun with that.

And i don't see much potential.

you know what would be funny is that interactive boy demo thing, if it was actually a US goverment spy haha. It talked to you about how was your day what is on your mind, and some fools get to comfortable would start talking about killing people or whatever they have done wrong etcc and this shit ends up being transmitted haha.

All this debate about Cnet. And VGChartz users, real gamers, have chosen Sony as the winner.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)
