Sorry, should have elaborated :P. I think the whole concept of motion control is lame in general, so there's very little appeal to be found in any of the three techs (in my opinion, of course). Even using the Wii Channel interface makes me want to strangle myself, so I can't imagine I'd get much enjoyment out of the tech when utilised by Microsoft and Sony.
It's all about the game.

I can understand where you're coming from and that you look at gaming as more of a time to relax and I'm sure that there will always be a market for that sort of thing, but I feel that motion controls are a step in the direction of virtual reality which is coming sooner than a lot of people think.

Sony showed off a tech demo fps style. It certainly looked more like a fps then wiis "on rails" games.
I know it has fps too but the ps controller, being more accurate than the wii one(w motion plus) at measuring dept should certainly not have a disadvantage. Hopefully sony also ads a analogue to each wand so when you're holding a wand in each hand you'll be able to turn around and move without having to turn around lol..

This is easily correctable in more than one way, including UVA rays

I guess when you are as bias as you, it blinds you so much that you failed to see that it did in fact have near perfect reception.

Red Steel isn't on rails. Neither are several other Wii shooters. MP3 isn't on rails, is it?
