Look at Crisis Core. The ending was simply ruined by the English VA if ya ask me.

First of all, I am a firm believer that languages are sacred. If you touch them, the original vision crumples. Subs are ok, since they do not touch the original work but simply try to aid you in the understanding of it. But this is just a sidenote here.

Watching bad English dubs is horrible, because we are familiar with the language. We are surrounded by it, and we catch all the inflictions and slight pauses that make a bad dub bad.

Watching a bad Japanese dub is tolerable, because we are not aware of these small things. I honestly couldn't tell a moderatly bad Japanese dub from a stellar one. Not in passing, anyway. Bad English always makes me cringe though. Not to mention bad Swedish. Even good Swedish can make me cringe.

Assuming you're Swedish, don't feel bad about your language XD

I sometimes have to read the subs, because my Japanese isn't that good. If I'm just watching some High School Anime then I should be fine, but my parents and I never talk about politics and positions (along with social science) like they do in GitS: SAC XD

Yes, I'm swedish. I don't really feel bad about my language, it's just I'm even more sensitive to when it comes Swedish than I am when it comes to English.

And by god, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex was an impossible show to understand the Japanese in.

the hell are u talking about. Every JRPG i played has a save point b4 every boss fight, and there not that difficult in fact very VERY few of them are really hard. Achievements are the only things i can agree with but are u seriously telling me u play games just for achievements?? wow just wow EPIC FAIL

Yes they are difficult, and if i play a 50+ hr game i better get some good achievments. Not every jrpg has great save points. Im not a epic fail JRPG sales are an EPIC FAIL.
