Thats a pretty cool opinion you got there. Definately hit most of the marks between the games I must say, though I found the cutscenes to be the killer of a brilliant game for me with MGS4.

Yeah, alot of people didn't like the cutscenes at all, maybe if they were interactive more people would have liked them but you can't please everyone unfortunately.

I loved MGS4 gameplay with everything I had. To find gameplay which was such a revellation to me after playing so many games was absolutely magical for me. But to absolutely loathe the cutscenes and the compulsary installs due to the cutscenes absolutely tore at me. Its the things which you love the most which can also hurt you the most. I couldn't skip the cutscenes because I loved the game, yet the cutscenes were the part I hated every minute of whilst I was playing watching. It also doesn't help that my PS3 was on its very last legs as I played through the game.

Tease.

I agree with Squilliam about MGS. Two things I hate about the MGS series

1- the sime-broken gameplay. I don't know how to describe it but the way you control your character, Aim and get in and out of cover was always weird to me and not fluid at all. Like I said it was almost broken to me and never felt comfortable at all

2- Cutscenes, if anything I hate the most it's long and frequent cutscenes that takes you out of the gameplay and out of the control of your character and MGS had a lot of those. I got so tired of them that eventually I skipped EVERYTHING that was not playable

day one for me

I dunno guys, I think this game is completely different from MGS. I like both games, but they are apples and oranges. MGS is less than half about the "stealth" gameplay, and is more about how much it changes things up and gives you strange and great objectives, as well as mildly interesting nonsensical cutscenes. It is great, but doesn't appeal to everyone. Splinter Cell is just great, period.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Hey thanks Selnor I missed the extened version. This is awesome. Ubi has completly turned the series around cant wait for this one.

Eh, don't like the mark=head shot kills. I prefer to actually aim at someone and shoot.

You can still do that.

That said, this is a stealth game, not a shooter. This new mechanic reenforces that.

I don't care much for the MGS games; I've always been more of a Splinter Cell sort of guy.

We only get a brief silhouette of her at the end of the clip, but it looks like Anna Grimsdottir changed her hair. I can't wait to see more footage of Grim.

Argue you kidding me? Holy Shit, that is some badass shit there...never been a fan of the splinter cell series, but that is a freaking buy for me.
