Forums - Microsoft - 10,000+ Against Left 4 Dead 2 (Update)

This is all false outrage and overblown controversy, likely aimed at Microsoft angst, and not Valve. 9/10 of these people are probably PS3 fanboys who hate Valve. I'm not buying the controversy, sorry, nobody who was a fan of the first game would complain about an awesome looking sequel, because it costs 20 dollars more than it should. Hardcore Valve fans have 2000 dollar computers...not Xbox 360s. They would pay 200 dollars for a L4D expansion pack, and all of them are very excited about the prospect of Valve finally creating games quicker than before. That's my take. I think most of the people here, who are upset, are probably just making it up, because they want to marginalize one of the 360's biggest upcoming games.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Looking at the people that have come to argue in this thread, I have to agree with you zen.

I'll say it's probably more rooted in PC vs. Console fanboyism rather than PS3... Please don't blame everything on us. I'll love to hand L4D2 come on PS3, as we haven't even gotten L4D 1.

I think that it's the same type of anger that comes up against orginally PC Centric developers such as Bethesda, rather than an conspiracy by PS3 fans.

Don't you think so?

Youre such a consparicy theorist. and Whos to say those people with 2,000 dollar computers don't own 600 dollar ps3's? So what if they own a Ps3 they can still play L4D on the computer and can still be genuinly upset. Stop trying to make this "Ps3 fanboys are babies" Thats shit and you know it.

I'm mad at valve because they should have made half life 3, or half life 2 episode 3.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

If you're talking about me, I was merely playing Devil's advocate, and I cleraly told you that I wanted to hear your's and Valve side of the argument because I only heard the biased sides from my PC friend in High School, G4, and that fan video (I fucking hate Requiem for a Dream. It has become so over used... can't anyone be original when they decide to make an music video? grrr)

And I told you that I understood your's and Valve's position when you finished explaining. I never took anyone's side, I only wanted to hear your opinions and enlighten myself.

The only argument we had was whether or not "fuck off and die" could be used non-insultingly in a certain context, but I'm done with that now.

For all we know they are already making it, Valve bought Turtle Rock Studios and they're behind Left 4 Dead.

The name of the song isn't Requiem for a Dream ;)

its "fuck off and get a life" for goodness sakes ...Apart from your wall post I have not seen "fuck off and die" anywhere in this thread .. is the user invisable to me or something?!

and no I don't class you as a Sony fanboy I was talking about others.

Valve is on their rights to release L4D2 anytime they want, priced the way they prefer, I guess.

However, it's not different from Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. Change the content of your few levels/game modes while keeping the same base with a bunch of small tweaks and throw it at people because they will buy and play it over and over and over again.
