Saying "fuck off and get a life" to "these people" vs. a specific person is both still rude and bad behavior, at least that's how my parents, elders, teachers, and friends taught me. I'll never say "fuck off and get a life" to someone I want to be friends with (or maintain my friendship with), and I'll rather say it to people who I don't like, and frankly, are jerks in the first place.

I never played, L4D, nor buy Valve games, but from that fan video, and what I heard from Adam Sessler (I think), it seems like Valve has yet to deliver on their promise and seems to have no reason to do so with L4D2 coming out.

Since I'm only hearing one side of the argument, especially after watching an potentially biased video, will you please give me Valve's side of the story seece?

You post an article that states "Thousands for fans of Left 4 Dead are pissed. Why ? Because Left 4 Dead 2 is coming out in a little under a year than its prequel and previous promises of L4D1 being a long lasting experience are not being met."


Then you ask who said Valve isn't delivering its promises?  Did you even read what you posted?

Yes have you even read what I have posted? Valve have come out with DLC for L4D already, for all we know they have something in the works, and that DLC for L4D2 is compatible with L4D1.

I don't have "Valves side of the story" I'm not jumping to any conclusions, Valve could completly stop support for L4D. I don't think they will. I think they can continue support for the 2. Say they bring out a brand new mode for L4D2, how hard would it be to include that mode as DLC for free to L4D users?

Yes have you even read what I have posted? Valve have come out with DLC for L4D already, for all we know they have something in the works, and that DLC for L4D2 is compatible with L4D1.

I bet, EA offered Valve some $ mio USD as advance payment for another l4d box. That's the only reason for sure, because Valve NEVER released a follow-up that fast!
