I never played, L4D, nor buy Valve games, but from that fan video, and what I heard from Adam Sessler (I think), it seems like Valve has yet to deliver on their promise and seems to have no reason to do so with L4D2 coming out.

Since I'm only hearing one side of the argument, especially after watching an potentially biased video, will you please give me Valve's side of the story seece?

I don't have "Valves side of the story" I'm not jumping to any conclusions, Valve could completly stop support for L4D. I don't think they will. I think they can continue support for the 2. Say they bring out a brand new mode for L4D2, how hard would it be to include that mode as DLC for free to L4D users?
