I have had my Xbox 360 for a couple of months now, I have gotten to know it very well. In this review I will be honest with my thoughts on the Xbox 360.

Initial Impressions

When I opened up my xbox 360 I though it looked nice, plugged the cables in and turned on the Xbox 360. I used to hear a lot about the X360 having a loud fan and I used to play it at my friends house so I was aware of this problem. But the new Xbox 360 are very quiet I was surprised and extremely happy, when the disc loads the fan maybe a bit louder but once the game has started you don't even notice it. When watching movies its as quiet as a ps3. I think people that still claim the X360 to have a loud fan are clearly trolling.

The new interface

I really love the new interface it just adds value to the X360, it makes browsing for games and movies much easier and it just looks damn professional. So a thumbs up for the new interface.

The content Available on Xbox Live

The content available on Xbox live is staggering from the vast library of demo's, xbl games and xbox games. The content that is available to download is quite frankly impressive and something to be admired of. I was happy that the store still had demo's of older games making it easier for us newcomers to purchase our future games.

My thoughs on Xbox Live

I don't mind paying £40 a year if justified, with the content available on live I feel that £40 charge is justified. The Xbox Live market place is consistenly updated with new demo, videos and games. So all in all the service is a must if you dont have Xbox live, the experience is not the same.

Best thing about the Xbox 360

Its the controller its a piece of art. I love this controller when I purchased cod4 for my X360, the satisfaction of playing shooters with this controller is just gaming heaven. In my opinion this is the no1 controller of this Gen! Playing shooters with this controller is a must.

Conclusion

The Sony leader is very impressed and very satisfied with the Xbox 360, people that still mention the Rrod are trolling and need to be reported inmediately. The new consoles are sublime, the Rrod may still occur but it's highly unlikely. The x360 is a must own console this generation, both HD consoles quite frankly are must own.

• Gears of war 3
• Splinter cell conviction
• Crackdown 2

good work, i still prefer mouse and keyboard for fps though. hopefully microsoft coms out with lil wands of their own, or sony's magic sticks come out soon to test em in an fps :)
