Forums - Gaming - Why No Hype about Alpha Protocol?

Considering it is developed by Obsidian (developers who worked on Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment, KOTOR 2) and being published by Sega, the amount of buzz surrounding it is pretty low.

I am doubly surprised that an Action RPG game with such pedigree that is supposed to be released in October of this year is being ignored right now. Is there any particular reason for it?

I'm totally hyped for it :)

100% sure buy (superior and cheaper pc version of course)

Shouldn't availability on the PC make more people clamoring for it?

When does it come out, whats it play like, etc. I've been hearing about it a lot, just not many details.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

It is supposed to be out in October, the only details I have are from the wikipedia article.

Sorry but this game has been living in the shadow of Assassins Creed II ever since that gameplay video was leaked over a year ago. People still think Prototype is actually Assassin's Creed II. So all the buzz that Prototype created has shifted over to Ezio!

nevermind

I am plenty hyped for it!

people hype multiplatform games?

Site editors and writers aren't talking about it much. Thus we don't talk about it much.

Sega isn't talking about it much. Thus site editors and writers aren't talking about it much.

Obsidian delayed the game too much. Thus Sega isn't talking about it much.

The End

I'm pretty excited for it. It's like Mass Effect meets Robert Ludlum, which is an awesome combination!
