Forums - Nintendo - I really, really, really want Super Mario Galaxy 2. Like, now.

I'm definitely very much looking forward to this game too, as well as I'm looking forward a lot to NSMBW. I can't even judge which one I'm more eagerly awaiting, I mean, with Mario Galaxy we pretty much know what to expect, just more of the amazing gameplay the first game offered.

NSMBW though could either be "just" the same as the DS game, but on the Wii (I know it's no port, mind you) or it could be the true successor of Mario World and the first Mario sidescroller on a home console for almost 20 years.

However, the best thing is that I waited with my Luigi run when I finished Super Mario Galaxy, and that now that I have finished Okami (great game too, btw) the time has come to enjoy the greatness that has been SMG again.

Currently Playing: Skies of Arcadia Legends (GC), Dragon Quest IV (DS)

Last Game beaten: The Rub Rabbits(DS)

I LOVED Galaxy, but I'm not even sure if I want NSMBW or SMG2 more. Both look like pure bliss on a disc.

NSMBW in November and SMG2 in April, if I had to guess. Can't beat that for Marioboys.

I Can't wait for Galaxy 2, but the trailer has me scared, I really hope they don't revert to midi music again, it would be such a let down.

That said, if you asked me 10 years ago that i would eventually be riding yoshi through space, I would of died.

I know that I will enjoy NSMBW multiplayer a lot, but nothing beats 3D single player Mario for me. Since Miyamoto hinted at a possible sequel I hoped it would come true. Love love love you Miyamoto.

Yeah, that worried me too. I really hope they don't take the cheap route and go to midi. I mean damn Nintendo you've got seventy ga-trillion dollars, shell out a few thousand for an orchestra for a day or two.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

They CAN'T go midi in Galaxy 2. That would be a sin. I swear I won't buy the game if its midi again. Same with Zelda Wii. The music in Galaxy was EPIC.

wow, that is some mean feat. I'm 18 hours in and i just sort of lost patience with it. I thouroghly enjoyed it ,but the traveeling to and fro kinda got repetitive after a while. The dialogue and art work in that game are amazing, but the actual fighting( the repetitive nature) bored me after a while.

I hope to go back and complete it at some point. We'll see
