TheSource said: Yeah I do. It is the Wii part of IGN, so of course it is only Wii data. Besides, they rounded to the nearest thousand like they always do. Vgcharts rounds as well. Bunkum has the hard data. Gamedaily's report will be the one that has everything including analyst reactions.
Bankum doesn't have access, he most likely just got it from another site and reposted here. If you look you can find the numbers, this site is a tad slow for me.

They said Sonic sold 80k in it's first 8 days (all that was left of Febuary) I know some of you will be pissed at me, but I couldn't help but laugh at some of the pics posted on NeoGAF http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v93/aztrex/SinkingShip.jpg

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

If true........ 5 360 games in the top 10 over 100k units. Wow. People say the Wii is doing great, but when HALF of the games are 360........There's something to be said.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Kwaad said: For whoever it was that mispelled my name. It is Kwaad. Second. What came out for the PS3 in Febuary? Uhhh Sonic? (haha) VF5? like 3 or 4 days before the end of the month? Febuary was a dead month for software. However that is creepy low. However when the bad press moves off Sony, I expect them to start selling. (as well as months like march wich actually have games to move units) This is all Kwaad will say. Kwaad has spoken. Kwaad has NOT had a heart attack.
Kwaad, I wanna call you out for saying that PS3 demand and sales somehow went up a few weeks ago.

Actually, bunkum is almost always the very first one to break it. Many actually link to his numbers, not the other way around.

well the 360 is the best system until the ps3 gets more games out. Right now the ps3 doesn't have many games. I was at kmart yesterday and they had like 4 games for ps3...seriously. They had 6 times that many for 360 and maybe 3 to 4 times as many for wii. GAMES SONY GAMES!

Wii's userbase in the USA is also proportional to the Wii's software sales compared to the 360. Wii: 2 million 360: 5 million Wii February top ten: 3 360 February top ten: 5

and who links to his numbers?

If the PS3 number is that low I would agree that something needs to be done. But, on the eve of European launch....

I'd really like to see you prove Bunkum doesn't have access to the data. For last month he provided data that was not in any of the Top Software lists which NPD gives to the people who pay for the information like www.gamasutra.com, www.gamespot.com, etc. I'm talking truly esoteric rankings like 3 year old last gen software (in both dollar amounts and raw unit totals) compared to sequels. That kind of information is hard to fake realistically, and not available on other websites. Just because you have been screwed by other people, it doesn't mean you are being screwed here. As for the small changes in Bunkum's data last month, it was delayed because the month was five weeks. Data he had was what NPD had given out at that point, to people with access to the report, but it was not finalized yet.
